An Irish teenager is regarded as the main suspect in a cyber fraud gang investigation which is underway in Waterford.
Gardaí arrested nine men in recent days in relation to the investigation for money fraud and smishing, while two men have already been before the courts.
Conor Lally, crime and security editor with the Irish Times, spoke on Déise Today this morning (Wednesday) about the investigation and what is known so far.
He also explained, generally, how gangs are using international bank accounts to complete cyber fraud, and how the gardaí investigate these cases.
