Dr Chris Mulhall, lecturer in French and Italian at the Department of Humanities at SETU, talks about learning a foreign language with Damien on Déise Today today (Oct 5th).

Chris discusses the difficulties in learning a new language and breaks down his acronym, POETIC, which is how he recommends for learning a language.

The SETU lecturer also spoke about learning languages in secondary school, how we can increase the use of languages in everyday life, and the importance for the country increasing the use of foreign languages.

Chris will be back with Damien on Déise Today, discussing more about learning a foreign language in the next coming weeks.
