Clifton Foyle, who co-runs "Artform" was in studio to talk about a painting demo with Dave West on May 18th.

This event is being run in conjunction with Artform, an art school that operates out of Dunmore East.  Artform is headed up by Cliften Foyle and Martina O'Byrne. You'll find out more here.

What's happening at the workshop?

The crew at Artform has invited renowned painter Dave West to give a free demo at the harbour in Dunmore East between 7pm and 9pm on Saturday 18th May. This event is open to all, from absolute beginners to to those who are proficient. All that's asked of you is that you bring your own materials.

What else is happening for the Dunmore Harbour Festival?

The festival which runs on May 18th and 19th, is to celebrate the Harbour's 200 year anniversary and as part of that there will be plenty of events including a host of Sea-Shanty singers from all over the world performing in the pubs. There will also be chartered boat trips, a funfair, lighthouse tours, yoga, cooking demos, a festival market and a treasure  hunt.
