Yellow warning issued for strong winds in Waterford
Further strong winds are forecast for Waterford.
A status yellow alert has been issued for Waterford, Wexford and Cork.
It will see gusts of up to 90 kilometres an hour this afternoon, evening and for a time tonight.
It’s the latest in a series of vigorous Atlantic systems to pass close to Ireland.
