Works due to commence on Tramore's public toilets

Works are due to commence on repairing the public toilets in Tramore as early as next week.

Situated at the end of the prom, they have been closed since before Christmas due to safety concerns.

Speaking to WLR, Fine Gael Councillor Frank Quinlan says a contractor is in place for the works.

"One of the large glass roof lights near the entrance had come loose during windy weather and there were fears it would fall down," he explained.

"A contractor is in place to fix what was wrong."
