Sixteen Merchants Quay, formerly The Baytree Bistro, will be changed from the use of a restaurant unit to housing.
The building will accommodate eight apartments, consisting of six studio apartments across the first and second floors.
Two of the apartments will be two beds, at the ground and first-floor levels.
The application includes all associated modifications to the front and rear of the building.

The restaurant closed in recent years, with several buildings along the Quay front becoming derelict.
A decision is due back by October 3rd.
