Waterford's Rescue 117 crew part of major transferal for life saving organ transplant

Waterford's Rescue 117 crew were part of a major operation this morning when a young boy needed to get to a London Hospital for a life saving organ transplant

Multi agency coordination between the National Ambulance Service, Air Traffic Control, Irish Coast Guard, and Emergency Services in Britain allowed the patient to be transferred smoothly and safely to the UK.

Rescue 117 have congratulated the teams involved and have wished the boy a very speedy recovery.
