Waterford now has one of the lowest incidence rates of Covid-19 in the country.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre reports that 41 cases have been confirmed in Waterford over the last two weeks.
That gives an incidence rate of 35.3 per 100,000 people.
Less than two weeks ago Waterford's rate peaked at 98.1. (21st September)
Only two other counties, Leitrim and Mayo, have lower rates than Waterford.
The national average is now 108 cases per 100,000.
Elsewhere in the South East: Tipperary's rate is 36.4, Wexford is 39.4, in Kilkenny it's 40.3 while it's 43.9 in Carlow.
552 cases have been confirmed in neighbouring Cork over the last fortnight to give an incidence rate of 101. 7 there.
