Waterford has the lowest 14-day incidence of covid-19 in the country.
A daily breakdown of cases per county is once again available following a hiatus due to the cyber attack on the HSE last May.
The data shows that while there were 44 cases in the county to midnight on Monday, the five-day moving average is 25.
There were 320 cases in the two weeks to Tuesday to give an incidence rate of 275 per 100 thousand population.
Well below the national average of 457.
The worst affected areas remain in the border counties of Monaghan and Donegal.
There have been 7,464 cases of Covid-19 in total in Waterford since the outbreak of the pandemic.
Meanwhile, at University Hospital Waterford there were 8 patients with the virus on site on Wednesday at 8pm, an increase of one on the previous 24 hours. No patient is in ICU.
