Last night saw the 9th annual Waterford Business Awards take place in the surrounds of Faithlegg House Hotel.

Speaking ahead of last night's awards, Managing Director of WLR, Des Whelan, said the station is delighted to be involved to both champion and promote the Waterford Business Awards for the ninth consecutive year.

He said: “The Business Awards are a beacon of positivity and once again the list of nominee companies in every category is of a very high standard."

"Following Covid and the disruption and change it brought it’s very encouraging to see so many new businesses come forward and there’s no doubt that a vibrant business sector adds considerably to a county that’s been recognized nationally as Ireland’s best place to live.”
