Waterford Whispers News is launching a new subscription service.
The Tramore-based satire website will offer fans a "bonus content" service costing €5 a month.
It will be available from Monday through Facebook's new Fan Subscriptions platform and creators' membership platform Patreon.
Founder of the site, Colm Williamson, told the Irish Times that the subscription service is to help compensate for "the realities of shrinking online advertising revenue".
