Waterford Walls have announced that they will be extending beyond the city and into the county.
This year will be the sixth year of the festival, with 20 walls confirmed for 2021 so far.
Director of Waterford Walls Edel Tobin says that there will plenty of new elements for people to enjoy.
"We'll be expanding the programme of the artwork out into the county and into the area of Ballybeg and Kilbarry and the response already has been phenomenal.
"Besides the expansion, we're also in the middle of a French, German and Irish programme as well as a mentoring and training programme that we've put together for the first time this year," according to Waterford Walls' director said.
Edel says that she's particularly delighted to feature artwork in Ballybeg, an area close to her heart.
"I've been teaching in Ballybeg in St. Savior's Primary School for nearly twenty years. I know the people out there and I know the difference this artwork is going to make.
"I really hope people get behind it as much possible in the Ballybeg-Kilbarry area because we're committed over the next three years to bringing 15 pieces of large-scale art there," Tobin said.
While there's still a bit of time to go until the 2021 festival, Edel said that there are still ways people can support them now.
"For the month of March we want to make people aware that right now is that there are over 100 pieces of artwork that they can go and visit, enjoy and appreciate.
"What we'd like for people to do to support us is to share the joy, take a selfie and share it on your social media pages," Tobin said.
