Gardai on patrol in Waterford seized a vehicle in Waterford City on Friday morning when they witnessed it run a red light.
The car was followed afterward and pulled over by the Waterford Roads Policing Unit.
It then transpired that the driver didn't have a license and was uninsured.
Gardai say court proceedings will follow in the coming weeks and the vehicle has since been seized.
Waterford Roads Policing Unit were on patrol in Waterford City when they saw this car drive through a red light on the Quay. They were stopped and it was found that the driver had no licence or insurance.

Meanwhile. a fixed charge penalty notice was issued on the same morning as another vehicle was observed parked in a disabled parking bay without a disability badge.
The driver was resultantly fined with Gardai appealing to people to leave the spaces for those who need them most.
