The bad spell is forecast to head eastwards today, but Met Eireann say it's not possible to predict exactly where the worst affected areas will be.
Yesterday, ESB crews were working to restore power to homes across the South East following spectacular thunder and lightning storms on Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
4,400 homes and businesses across the South East had their power knocked out by lightning strikes .
