Champagne corks were popped in Hillview in Waterford City this afternoon, after local man Frank Quinlan completed his 21st half-marathon in 21 days within a 2km radius of his home.
He is raising funds for local mental health charities and frontline workers and has raised €14,000 so far. You can donate here
Frank was welcomed over the finish line by his family and a large group of neighbours.
Frank told WLR's Damien Tiernan that he is delighted, thanking everybody for the support adding, "I would not have done this without seeing every single penny of it donated".
"That kept me going everyday, everyday before I started my run I saw how much was raised and that inspired me and motivated me to go and run."
He says he can't thank the Waterford people enough, "their generosity, their compassion and their sense of solidarity was just unbelievable".
