Waterford has recorded the third highest NCT pass rate.
That's according to the latest National Car Test figures which show the pass rate for the full test has fallen to its lowest level in five years nationally at 50.6 per cent last year.
The highest pass rate was in Offaly at 57.3 per cent followed by Limerick at 55.5 and Waterford at 55.1 per cent.
The lowest pass rates were recorded in Cavan (39.4), Leitrim (42.1) and Monaghan (43.5).

Figures show 128,548 cars were found to be unroadworthy to a dangerous level while being checked at an NCT centre in 2024.
