Gardaí are investigating the stabbing of a priest that occurred in a house in Ardkeen this morning.
The man in his 30's suffered injuries that are not deemed life threatening.
He has been taken to University Hospital Waterford for treatment and is considered to be in a stable condition.
A man in his 20s has been arrested in relation to the incident and is currently detained at Waterford Garda Station for questioning.
