Waterford Gardaí appeal for witnesses to yesterday's N25 crash

Waterford Gardaí are continuing their appeal for witnesses to a collision that occurred on the N25 yesterday afternoon.

A man in his 30's who was driving the car has been killed while the lorry driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash happned at Newtown, Kilmacthomas at about 1:30pm yesteday and the road was closed for investigation.

It subsequently reopened this morning around 4.

Gardaí are appealing for any drivers who may have camera footage or were in the Newtown vicinity between 1:15 and 1:40 to come forward.
