Waterford Deputy David Cullinane Appointed to Sinn Fein Front Bench

Sinn Fein Party Leader Mary Lou McDonald has announced her front bench this afternoon and there is a space for Waterford TD David Cullinane.

The Waterford deputy has been given the remit of Health Spokesperson by the party.

As expected the party's new Galway West TD, Mairead Farrell, has been named as spokesperson on Public Expenditure and Reform.

While Pearse Doherty and Eoin Ó Broin remain as finance spokesperson and housing spokesperson respectively.

There are a number of first time TDs given promotions. First time TD Rose Conway-Walsh from Mayo is the party's spokesperson on Higher Education, Innovation and Science, and Claire Kerrane from Roscommon-Galway is the party's spokesperson on Social Protection, Community and Rural Development and the Islands

Louise O'Reilly has moved from health to Enterprise, Trade and Employment.

The party's Whip is Donegal TD Padraig Mac Lochlainn.

The announcement was made in a slick Facebook post on McDonalds Facebook page
