There are calls for a mountain bike trail to be created in County Waterford.
Sinn Fein Councillor Conor McGuinness says there is huge potential at Glendalligan Woods between Dungarvan and Lemybrien.
He says it's already being used unofficially.
"This is something that was discussed previously, it was considered and unfortunately didn't seem to go anywhere.
"There is an unofficial mountain bike trail in use by enthusiasts in the forest at Glendalligan
"It is something worthwhile looking into and for the council to reach out to Coillte and to look at examples such as the one in Ballyhoura which recently hosted the European Mountain Biking Championship.
Conor McGuinness says it's a great location.
"It has real tourist potential. We're looking at outdoor tourism for the coming while anyway. It fits in with a lot of our objects and will be in close proximity to the Greenway."
Richie Walsh is head of the Local Enterprise Office, he says it would be a wonderful resource to have.
"Whether Glendalligan is exactly the spot where it should happen or not, I don't know.
"Certainly, Ballyhoura and other places have made huge gains from having such a thing.
"We will bring it back on to the agenda again and see where it can go."
