Market rents rose by an average of two per cent in the second quarter of 2024, according to the latest Rental Report by Daft.ie.
In Waterford City, rents have risen by 9.9 per cent - with the average rent now €1,616.
In the rest of Waterford, market rents were on average 7.4 per cent higher in the second quarter of 2024 than a year previously. The average listed rent is now €1,590.
Overall, it's the fourteenth consecutive quarter in which rents nationwide have increased and the 45th time in the last 48 quarters.
