Waterford is one of only 8 counties in Ireland with Covid-19 incidence rates below 100.
The 1,012 new cases yesterday has pushed the 14-day incidence rate to 150 cases per 100,000 population.
Waterford's rate has increased again to 56 - that's up from 46.5 yesterday.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre reports that 65 cases have been confirmed in Waterford over the past fortnight. (Latest figures from September 26th, to Midnight on October 9th)
Carlow continues to have the lowest rate in Ireland at 52.7 followed by Waterford on 56 and Mayo on 56.7.
Three counties, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal now have rates above 300.

South East
The number of active cases (confirmed 26/9 to 9/10) in the South East has increased to 370, that's up from 325 yesterday.
The mean age has dropped to 39 and 122 are associated with clusters.
Wexford continues to have the highest level of cases in the region, the 14-day incidence rate has increased to 97.5.
