Management at University Hospital Waterford are again encouraging both sides to resolve the industrial action which is affecting the facility.
A strike, involving cleaners who are employed by Momentum Support, has now entered its 12th day.

In a statement University Hospital Waterford encouraged the parties directly involved to use the States dispute resolution mechanism's to resolve this dispute.
They say that Hospital Management is actively working to ensure minimal disruption to patient services and apologises for any inconvenience caused by a dispute which they are not party to.
