Two men have been remanded in custody after cocaine, cash and a gun were seized in Waterford and New Ross.
A glock gun, with over 40 rounds of ammunition, was recovered on Wednesday, when Gardai stopped and searched a car in Glenmore.
Three men, from Waterford City were arrested.
Follow up searches were carried out at a house in Hillview in Waterford City where 33,000 euro in cash was seized and at a house near New Ross, where officers confiscated cocaine, with a street value of 35,000 euro.
Yesterday, two men aged 29 and 32 were charged with possession of a firearm and appeared before Waterford District Court.
They were both remanded in custody.
A third man was released without charge.
