Two men have been found dead in a Waterford hostel this afternoon.
Gardaí were called to an incident at the McGwire's Men's hostel on Bath Street in the city at around 4.45pm.
On arrival, they discovered the body of a 40 year old man who was pronounced dead at the scene.
While at the hostel, Gardaí were alerted to a second man in his early 40s who was dead in his bed.

Both bodies have been removed to the city morgue and post-mortem examinations will be conducted.
Gardaí say the results of the post-mortems will determine the course of the investigation.
