Two men have been charged in connection with a multi-million euro drugs haul.
Cocaine worth over two million euro was seized along with cannabis and a number of firearms were recovered as part of Operation Tara last Friday.
The discovery was made when two vehicles were intercepted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau in Finglas, north Dublin.
Planned searches were then carried out at addresses in Kilkenny, Waterford, Tallaght and Ashbourne.
In total cocaine worth two million euro was found, along with cannabis worth €20,000, three Glock handguns and a replica handgun, €18,000 in cash and drugs paraphernalia
One man in his 20s was brought before a special court sitting on Saturday evening, a second man aged in his 50s is due before the courts today.
Two other men in their 20s and 30s arrested as part of the investigation have been released without charge and files are being prepared for the DPP.
