Two drivers in Waterford were fined and given penalty points after getting caught speeding this morning.
One motorist was travelling at 141 kph in a 100 zone, the other was clocked doing 122 kph.
Both incidents happened near Waterford City.

The fixed-charge fine for driving in excess of the speed limit is €80 and 3 penalty points. You have 28 days to pay your fine. Failure to pay will result in an increased fine of €120 and possibly more penalty points up to a maximum of 5 points.
