It was a busy weekend for South Eastern Mountain Rescue.
They were alerted by Waterford Gardai shortly after 2.00pm yesterday to help two walkers who were cragfast in the Comeragh Mountains.
The pair were stuck in an area east of Mahon falls and were unable to ascend or descend.
The full Mountain Rescue team responded and lowered them to safety.
SEMRA got a further call before 5.00pm to search for a man who got lost driving remote forest tracks in the Knockmealdown Mountains.
Shortly after they had deployed the man was located and the incident was stood down at 7.00pm.
