The Tramore RNLI Lifeboat was launched this afternoon after a swimmer got into difficulty on the rocks at the Guillamene.
The Lifeboat was launched at 1:55pm and the Tramore RNLI attended the scene at 2:03pm.
The three people were out swimming at the Guillamene and a female swimmer got into difficulty.
Two others swam back to shore to raise the alarm after the female swimmer got a cramp.

The swimmer was easily identifiable as she was wearing a yellow swimming hat.
She didn't need any medical attention and the Tramore RNLI have now returned to their base after the successful launch.
