Tragedy as young jockey dies at Glenbeigh Races in Kerry

A young jockey has tragically died at the Glenbeigh Racing Festival in Kerry.

WLR News understands the jockey has strong Waterford connections.

Glenbeigh Racing Festival have taken to their social media in the last hour to say that all further events on Rossbeigh Beach this weekend have been called off following the tragic death.

According to The Kerryman, the incident happened during a race this afternoon (Saturday).
