Gardaí from Waterford's roads policing unit have had a busy few days.
On Saturday, a patrol unit stopped a tractor after observing the driver using their phone.
They said the driver had been checking their messages
After the tractor was stopped, it was discovered that its tax had expired in 2012 around 3,250 days previously.
The driver of the tractor was issued with a fixed charge penalty notice and court proceedings will follow

A driver was arrested on the N25 in the county after gardai stopped his car which had been overtaking dangerously.
It was then discovered the driver had no insurance, no license and he tested positive for cannabis.
On Sunday, Tramore Gardaí found this car parked in a disabled bay.
The driver was issued with a €150 fixed charge penatlty notice and was directed to move their car.
