Three months of major roadworks are beginning on the N25 in Waterford this morning.
Drivers can expect delays between 7am and 7pm each day as they work on a four-kilometre stretch of road from Leamybrien as far as McGrath's Cross.
In recent years that area has been the scene of a number of serious collisions.
The roadworks are due to continue until the 7th of July.

Waterford City and County Council is urging drivers to allow extra time as a stop and go system will be in place.
