Sinéad O'Connor will be laid to rest this week.
In a statement, her family says members of the public will have the opportunity to pay their final respects when her funeral cortege passes along the seafront in Bray, County Wicklow on Tuesday morning at 10.30, before a private burial.
The route will begin at the Harbour Bar end of Strand Road and continue along the seafront to the other end of Strand Road, passing by the home in Montobello where Sinéad lived for 15 years.
There's been a widespread outpouring of grief in Ireland and around the world, since the legendary singer-songwriter's death on July 26th.
Sinead O'Connor, who died aged 56, attended Newtown Secondary School in Waterford during the 1980s.
