Temporary swimming ban in place in Clonea, Waterford

A temporary swimming ban is in place on Clonea Beach in County Waterford.

There's a risk of contamination following an emergency overflow from the sewerage system.

Waterford Council has issued a temporary bathing prohibition order until the water quality can be verified.

They say that this will take around two days.
