Supplies of B- blood down to two days as clinics open in Waterford

People in County Waterford are being encouraged to give blood this week.
The first in a series of blood donation clinics gets underway at Lawlor’s Hotel in Dungarvan from 5.00 pm until 8.30 pm this evening.
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service will be at the same venue tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm and 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm each day.
The IBTS is particularly appealing to B negative donors to come forward as they currently only have two days supply.
