The summer sun looks set to return this week.
Forecasters are predicting much warmer and brighter conditions over the coming days as an area of high pressure moves in over Ireland.
It will also bring about high levels of UV meaning people will need to make sure they're protected with a high factor sunscreen.
Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather describes the temperatures we can expect:
"It will be up to 21 degrees today, tomorrow (Monday) it'll be up to 22, on Tuesday it will rise to 23 and we could expect up to 24 or 25 degrees by Wednesday.
"Getting warmer each day and we can expect good sunny spells as well, there will be a very small chance of a scattered shower.
"It will be a little bit cooler on the coast with the warmest weather expected inland, but certainly, there will be a fine spell of weather until Thursday," O'Reilly predicts.
