The charity cycle for Suicide or Survive has surpassed its fundraising target.
Cycle for SOS has been underway since the 8th of June and concluded today.
It had a target of €10,000 to try fill gaps in mental health services in Waterford impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
Since 2015 the charity - founded by Councillor Liam Brazil - has raised €44,000 for services.
Ciara Hennebry, a committee member with the charity, said: "We're absolutely delighted here, we can't believe the support from everyone, it's been amazing." The funds will go towards workshop classes focused on mental health.
The charity says donations can still be accepted for the coming days at its Go Fund Me page.
