County Waterford enjoyed success at this week's Tia Maria HiStyle Hair & Beauty Awards held in Cork - with a Dungarvan salon in existence 34 years among the winners.
New Images Hair Salon scooped the Best Community Salon in Munster accolade.
"We weren't expecting it - we were overwhelmed," proprietor Nicola Dee told WLR News.
"We're here 34 years and we actually have customers coming into us 34 years."
Nicola says it was a great night for the County Waterford hair and beauty industry.
Other winners included Jillian Lake from Professional Beauty (Young Entrepreneur of the Year), Ally from Mrs Needle (The One to Watch), Amy Ellen Beauty (Best Freelance Beauty) and Niamh Kennedy Hair Salon (Best Wedding Hair).

Other local hair and beauty professionals received nominations. The event was hosted by Deric Hartigan and Paul Ryder.
Nicola says the success enjoyed by Dungarvan at the awards further enhances the town's growing reputation.
"You have everything you could think of in Dungarvan," she says. "It's a great community town - everybody looks out for everybody here."
