A status orange wind alert for Waterford has been issued as Storm Brendan makes its way towards Ireland.
Met Éireann has issued two separate status orange wind alerts for counties in the south and west of the country.
The warning for Waterford comes into effect from 7am on Monday until 3pm.
The forecaster says gusts of up to 130 kilometres per hour are expected, and there's a significant risk of coastal flooding.

Meanwhile, a status yellow wind alert for counties in the midlands and east will also come into effect from 7am on Monday.
