The annual Solas Run and Walk for Life takes place today in Dungarvan with nearly 600 people taking part.
The Run and Walk now celebrates 15 years in Waterford City with nearly 3,200 people taking part tomorrow.
Dungarvan
- Today in Dungarvan you can register on the day, Saturday 14th October, between 9.30 am and 10.30 am in the Dungarvan Tennis Club. The event starts at 11 a.m.
- The registration fee is €25 per adult and €15 per child. This fee includes a t-shirt and an event medal, kindly sponsored by Eirgen Pharma.
- The 10K Run and Walk in Dungarvan starts at 11 a.m. today at Walton Park.
Route
The event begins in Walton Park and takes in the Waterford Greenway heading towards Ballinroad and the Crooked Bridge with 5K and 10k options available.
Remember, it's still not too late to sign up. In Waterford, you can register on the day in the Solas Cancer Support Centre from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The event starts at 11 a.m.
