Waterford's second cath lab is to open in September, Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly has confirmed.
Minister Donnelly has confirmed the news in Waterford this morning, where he is attending the official opening of the South East Palliative Care Centre.
"I'm delighted to say, as many of you will know, that the second cath lab will be up and running in September", said the Minister. "Both cath labs will work in parallel, five days a week."
