Waterford Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to an armed robbery in Lismore Park in Waterford.

On December 22, at Number 21 Off-Licence in Lismore Park, a man entered the premises close to closing time at 9pm.

He had a knife in his possession, which he produced while demanding money from the staff.

He is being described as 5ft 10 in height and was wearing dark tracksuits bottoms, a dark gilet and grey Adidas runners at the time of the robbery. He was also noted to have a backpack with a yellow crest on it.

Assistance from the public has been requested by Gardaí.
