The tax authority said it was aware of intermittent issues with online services, which were unavailable for some users throughout Friday.
We are aware of intermittent issues with our online services. Some customers can access services without any problem. However, for some customers performance is slow and for others the service is unavailable. Our technical teams are currently working to resolve the issues.

In a tweet posted on Friday afternoon, Revenue said the website was responding slowly for some, while others have been able to access services without any problems.
Tax bills for those who received the Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP) or the Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme during 2020 were set to arrive today.
Revenue figures show more than 400,000 people will be receiving bills.
Nearly half of those who have received the PUP so far have overpaid tax.
Of the 146,000 people affected, 500 of them will be owed more than €5,000.
