The Waterford based Coast Guard helicopter has helped Gardai in the search for a missing person near Fenor.

Rescue 117 could be seen hovering over the Carrigavantry area of Tramore early this morning.

Gardai say the person has been found safe and well.

South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association, Search and Rescue Dog Association and Tramore Coast Guard unit were also involved in the search.
