Update 10.10 pm:
Both walkers and the team from South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association are safely off the mountain.
Earlier:
A rescue operation is continuing in the Comeragh Mountains this evening.
South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association and the Waterford based Coast Guard helicopter were called out to assist two walkers.
One walker got 'crag fast' and is being airlifted to safety by Rescue 117. The other is being walked off by SEMRA.
