The coastguard rescue helicopter 117 has successfully lifted the body of a woman from the lake edge in the Comeragh Mountains this evening.
Rescue teams such as South Eastern Mountain rescue have been on the ground with over three days now.
The operation was launched on Sunday afternoon after emergency services received reports of a missing woman.
Yesterday, Gillian Ryan from Thurles' body was discovered in a deep gully near Coumshinghun.
On-foot rescue teams are still on the mountains, and are making their way back at present.
The body is being transferred to Waterford Airport and is expected to be brought to University Hospital Waterford for examination.
Investigations are ongoing.
