A status orange level rain warning has been issued by Met Eireann for Waterford and Cork.
The warning comes into effect from 3am tomorrow, Sunday and lasts until 3am on Monday.
It's anticipated that persistent heavy rainfall with isolated thunderstorms will cause disruption and localised flooding.
Drivers are being advised to take caution on the roads throughout the duration of the warning.
