Queen Elizabeth II has died at the age of 96.
She was the longest serving British monarch of all time having held the throne for 70 years.
The Queen passed away in Balmoral, Scotland this evening.
An official period of mourning will now begin in the United Kingdom.

Queen Elizabeth will be succeeded by her son Prince Charles, who will now become the King of Great Britain.
