Gusts of 113 km per hour were recorded at Waterford Airport earlier today, and there are a number of electricity faults in the county.
There's a fault in Dungarvan affecting approximately 1,600 people.
There are also outages in Tramore, Fenor, Carroll's Cross and Clonea.
ESB Networks are working to fix the faults in these areas.
Mike Kelly from Waterford Weather says the forecast is unsettled for the rest of the week:
"The jet stream is very strong at the moment. It's a very unsettled period of weather we have this coming week. We're expecting more low pressure systems to arrive, maybe not as potent as Storm Brendan, but there's certainly going to be some windy days ahead in the next four or five days."
