A planning application has been lodged with Waterford Council for permission to construct a motor home park in Tramore comprised of 53 motor home pitches.

The application for the development at Tramore Burrow has been lodged with Waterford Council by Aengus Rory Walsh and seeks permission for the construction of a 11,420 sq. metre motor home park.

The proposed development is comprised of 53 motor home pitches and four fully accessible family friendly glamping pods, ten electricity and water service points, one motor home waste disposal point, an external bike shelter. staff car parking spaces and set down area,

The project also includes a playground area, one storey surf club and motor home ancillary building, staff canteen, reception area, changing rooms, and bathrooms.

Also included is a street food plaza and a two storey café building.

A decision on the development is due on October 31st.
